What does on-demand mean?
A pre-order or on-demand means that garments are created to order. Instead of the traditional fashion calendar, where brands produce hundreds or thousands of the same garment, the pre-order method help us ensure that production corresponds more directly to demand, ultimately establishing a positive commercial model for all.
How is on-demand sustainable?
On-demand is one of the most sustainable production methods because instead of making garments in massively, we wait for orders to come in so we can produce more directly to demand. This way we don’t have leftover stock or fabric en masse - most brands burn this or take it to landfills, a huge threat to our ecosystem.
