Our Summer Fundraiser: An Evening in Support of Visions For Children e.V.

Join us this summer in Berlin for a remarkable dining experience as CAN PEP REY proudly presents another dinner event. This year, we are delighted to collaborate with the exceptionally talented chef and writer, Zsuzsanna Toth. Together, we aim to make a difference by raising funds for Visions For Children e.V., a non-profit organisation based in Hamburg, Germany. Their dedicated mission is to provide underprivileged children in conflict zones with access to quality education and improved learning conditions.

Prepare for an evening filled with natural wines, seasonal dishes, live music, and the charming ambiance of a picturesque garden venue. The Visions For Children team will warmly welcome you, as we come together to support a greater cause.

At Can Pep Rey, we firmly believe in collaborating with organisations that have a profound impact on communities worldwide. That's why we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Visions for Children this year.

Rest assured that every penny from the Summer Fundraiser's proceeds will be dedicated to the Block Haye Hawayee Middle School project in Mazar-e-Shari, Afghanistan. By attending this remarkable event, you will play a crucial role in providing these deserving children with a chance at a brighter future through education.

The Block Haye Hawayee middle school in Mazar-e-Sharif currently has 2,195 registered students, but not even half of them receive their lessons in classrooms. About 1,300 students have to attend classes in the corridors or outside. Lack of space, high noise levels and extreme temperatures make learning extremely difficult. Many students gain little to no skills, while others do not even get a place at school. Their families are financially weak and have only a low level of education. Due to the difficult access to education, children have hardly any chance to escape poverty.

"There can be no greater gift than that of giving one's time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return."
