Adagoi Tencel Wool

Adagoi Tencel Wool

FABRIC DESCRIPTION:

Our 70% Tencel and 30% Wool composition. Made and manufactured in Portugal. This mixed textile creates an easy and free-flowing fabric. Tencel is an environmentally friendly fabric with a plant-based background. It stems from the wood pulp of trees and through a chemical process is made into a loose fibre. Mixed with wool, a breathable fabric is created which naturally adapts to your body temperature.

An easy and transitional wardrobe staple. Worn on its own or layered. The composition creates a soft, stretchy and relaxed feel.

SUSTAINABLE ATTRIBUTES

Wool is a natural fibre and tencel is a semi-synthetic fibre. As both fibres stem from a natural source, they are easy to recycle as well as biodegrade back into nature. Wool has a self-cleansing nature by simply hanging the garment out in the fresh air. The fabrics are sustainable due to their long-lasting attributes when treated with care.

GARMENT CARE DESCRIPTION:

This is a general guide on how to care for your Tencel Wool blend garment, helping you make your clothes look better and last longer.

HAND WASH

Because a wool blend is so delicate, we recommend always hand washing it with lukewarm water. Use an appropriate soap made to specifically wash wool so as not to damage the scales.

DRY NATURALLY

It is recommended that these garments are flat dried after washing on surfaces away from direct sunlight. These garments are not recommended to tumble dry. To speed up the drying process, you can roll your clothes in white towels to absorb the water. Never hang up wet knitwear, it will lose its shape. This blend should not be dried in an electric dryer.

LOW IRONING

Set the iron on the Wool or Medium heat setting. Too hot-a-setting could lead to discolouration or in the worst case causes scorch marks. However, the best option is to lay the garment flat and gently reshape and size by hand; this way it will be wrinkle free.
