VISCOSE

This is a general guide on how to care for your VISCOSE garments, helping you make your clothes look better and last longer.

WASH CAREFULLY

Viscose is a highly absorbent fabric and therefore very delicate especially when wet. This is why hand-washing is gentle enough to prevent damage. Fill a sink or basin with cold water and add a mild detergent. Gently submerge the Viscose item and swish around in order to preserve the colors and brightness!  Allow the clothing to soak up to 30 minutes. Drain the tub and then fill again with more cold water, or run the garment underneath the faucet. Continue until suds are gone and the water runs clear. After hand-washing, gently squeeze out excess water. If you opt to use a washing machine, place your garment inside a mesh bag, wash in cold water, select the delicate cycle or «Hand wash» program and select the slowest spin speed.

DRY NATURALLY

Do not put in the dryer, it is better to allow the viscose garment to air dry flat or on a hanger. Gently pull the garment and shape it to return to its original shape as it begins to dry; it is essential never to excessive wringing or twisting wet viscose since it can be damaged easily. Don't leave it wrinkled, as that will create wrinkles that can be difficult to remove. Let the garment air dry flat or hang on a padded hanger to drip dry. Lay the wet piece on a thick cotton towel and roll it up to absorb most of the water. Once dry, it will recover its original shape.

IRONING & STEAMING

It is only during this step that the viscose garment will recover its original size, shape and lightness. To remove wrinkles, use a medium heat temperature (110 °C) on your iron - we recommend you to select the program «Silk». Viscose should be ironed on the reverse side when it is still wet or with a pressing cloth for more precaution. Also, a clothes steamer can work well to relax wrinkling or using the steam from the iron.
